Leukemia research fundraiser seeks raffle items, sponsors

ELBURN—The Friends of Jason Gould Foundation is planning its second annual fundraiser for leukemia and lymphoma research, Jason’s Hogfan Party.

The Hogfan Party features a pig roast, homemade desserts, a magician, music and raffles for adults and children, and will take place on Saturday, Sept. 11, at the St. Charles Moose.

The Friends of Jason Gould is seeking donations of raffle and silent auction items, as well as sponsors for the Hogfan Party. The event was started last year by the family of Jason Gould of Elburn, who died of leukemia and was a fan of the University of Arkansas Razorbacks.

New to the event this year will be sponsor tables that sell for a donation of $250 each. Donors will receive two free tickets to the event, a centerpiece with their name, any information they provide and a listing in the event booklet.

Sponsorship levels are as follows: $1,000 Eagle, $500 Star Wars, $300 Hogfan, and $200 Huskies. Sponsors’ names will be listed in the event booklet and on the fundation’s website.

If you are interested in making a monetary or raffle donation, or becoming an event sponsor, e-mail Sandy Gould at Rainbowday85@ AOL.com or call her at (630) 554-5764. More information is available at www.FriendsofJasonGould.com.

Invitations with ticket info will be sent the last week of July.
