Millikin JMS Scholars present research projects
Millikin University senior Michelle Buck of Elburn was among 22 students presenting their research projects during the annual James Millikin Scholars Senior Recognition Day program held on April 24 as a part of Millikin’s Celebrations of Scholarship.
Buck, a theatre major presented a research project titled, “Singing and the Tao Te Ching: A Return to the Natural Wayâ€.
The projects presented represent the culmination of at least two years of research. Most of the topics were conceived by the students and then refined with the help of a faculty project advisor.
The students in the James Millikin Scholars program are some of the best students at Millikin University. The students have maintained high academic standards while being some of the most actively involved students on campus. They were chosen for the program at the end of their sophomore year at Millikin.
