Da Capo Duo to perform June 19
Maple Parkâ€”The Da Capo Duo will perform at St. Mary of the Assumption on Sunday, June 19, at 5:15 p.m. to raise money for the St. Vincent DePaul Society.
With their unique blend of contemporary and classical styles, The Da Capo Duo presents an innovative and eclectic collection of music.
A free-will donation will be taken up after the concert, and all proceeds will go to the St. Mary Conference of the St. Vincent DePaul Society.

Lord of Life Lutheran
womenâ€™s Bible study
Elburnâ€”Lord of Life Lutheran Church will offer a womenâ€™s Bible study on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8 a.m., beginning June 15; and on Wednesdays from 9:30 to 11 a.m., beginning June 16.
The study series, titled, â€œWhen Godâ€™s People Pray,â€ will focus on what the Bible says the Holy Spirit can do when Godâ€™s people pray.
The cost for the participantâ€™s guide is $10.

Sanctuary Church offers
free outdoor concert
Bataviaâ€”Sanctuary Church in Batavia will hold a free outdoor concert on Sunday, June 13, on the hill behind the church at 1S430 Wenmoth Road in Batavia.

St. Charles Episcopal
offers healing mission
On Saturday, June 12, and Sunday, June 13, St. Charles Episcopal Church, 994 N. 5th Ave., St. Charles, will host A Healing Mission under the direction of its Order of St. Luke and the Rev. Paul Fieder.
Fieder, author of several books, has 36 years of experience in the healing and spiritual-growth ministries. He is the director of the St. John’s Center for Inner Peace in New London, Wis.
Beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, several lectures, a labyrinth walk, lunch and an afternoon Holy Eucharist will lead participants into a deeper understanding of the relationship of faith and healing. Sunday’s Holy Eucharists at 7:30, 9 and 10:45 a.m. will feature Don Crary, Chaplain, Order of St. Luke.
