Blessing of the Animals

Sugar Grove—Have you ever wished you could bring your pet to church? Well, for one service this month, you can bring your favorite animal to be appreciated and blessed during 8 a.m. outdoor worship on Sunday, July 18, at the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church’s Harter Road Pavilion.

The service will be at the church’s 40-acre campus (4S633 Harter Road), west of Route 47, past Harter Middle School.

Blessing the animals is a way of affirming God’s creatures who mean so much to us. Please be sure your pet is leashed, bridled or caged (whatever is most appropriate to keep it under control). For information, call (630) 466-4501.
