SG UMC sets new worship hours
Sugar Grove—The Sugar Grove United Methodist Church announced its regular worship hours for all the Sundays from September through May. The public is invited to attend.

The church, located at 176 Main St., Sugar Grove, will hold services at 8 and 10:30 a.m. on Sundays. Sunday school will be at 9:15 a.m. for ages 3 and up, and nursery care is available at the 10:30 a.m. service.

Church collects items for mission trip
Geneva—Rejoice Lutheran Church of Geneva is trading donations of personal hygiene and care items for a free bowl of gumbo during a fundraiser and donation collection at Graham’s Ice Cream in Geneva on Thursday, Sept. 9, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The church plans to send more than 30 adult missionaries to Louisiana to build home with Thrivent Builds/Habitat for Humanity.

Lord of Life offers free ultrasound services
La Fox—Lord of Life Church in La Fox on Sunday, Sept. 5, will offer free ultrasound services to women who think they may be pregnant but are not yet under a doctor’s care.

The Life Choices Center will bring its Mobile Ultrasound Unit and equipment to the church that day to offer pregnancy diagnosis and ultrasound services at no cost to the women of the greater Fox Valley community.

The Life Center diagnostic services will begin at 9 a.m. and will end when all women have been seen. If you know of, or are a woman who would like to take advantage of this opportunity, there is no appointment necessary and no charge.

Former Newsboys member coming to Kaneville
Kaneville—Paul Colman, Christian singer, songwriter and former guitarist for the Newsboys, will perform at Kaneville United Methodist Church on Saturday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m.
