Akemann continues his tradition of service

By on October 28, 2010

David Akemann is a public servant by which I mean he has spent much of his professional and private life doing things that are a public good. Akemann is the best choice for judge in Kane County because he will serve the people with an extensive background of knowledge of the law, and he will apply the laws in a fair and equitable manner.

Akemann is highly recommended by the Kane County Bar Association. Akemann gained his legal knowledge by serving in a variety of capacities, from two terms as Kane County State’s Attorney to assisting the Illinois State’s attorney. He has been in private practice. He has served as moderator for hearings on public issues in Mc Henry County.

In private life, Akemann is the co-founder of Elgin Children’s Theater, which has produced shows with children and youth for more than 300,000 happy theater-goers. Akemann has been active in his church all his life, holding many leadership positions. He is presently part of the Dad’s group at the University of Illinois at Urbana. He has been there for his children from kindergarten through college.

David Akemann will be a fair and honest judge. He carries on a long family tradition of public service with honor.
