Letter: Thank you for giving the gift of life

By on November 4, 2010

The Elburn American Legion Auxiliary Unit 630 would like to thank everyone who made our recent blood drive a success. Thirty-two donors volunteered and we were able to collect 30 pints of blood. This is a great gift to the Elburn community.

We also want to especially thank the Community Congregational Church for allowing us to use the hall while the Legion building was under repair.

Thank you to all the volunteers from the Auxiliary that coordinate and assist with every blood drive.

Please mark your calendars for the next blood drive on Thursday, Dec. 9, at the American Legion Hall. Blood is a precious gift anytime, but especially during the holiday season.

Thank you again.
