Dec. 3 SG police blotter
The following reports were obtained from local police departments. The individuals charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
• A resident of the 200 block of Capitol Drive, Sugar Grove, reported to police Nov. 24 that $341.58 of charges she did not make appeared on her credit card. The charges ranged from $.82 to $129.90.
• Tyler R. Gancarz, 20, of the 800 block of Queensgate Circle, Sugar Grove, was charged with obstructing identification and resisting a peace officer after Sugar Grove police responded to a domestic disturbance call Nov. 24.
• Sugar Grove police received information regarding an unidentified man who has been seen several times in the Sugar Grove and Montgomery area. He has been approaching individuals in yards and businesses attempting to get money from them. It has been reported that he is occasionally accompanied by a woman who he has identified as his girlfriend. He is asking for gas money to help him get back to his job at Menards in Yorkville.
Police do not have a good description of him other than he is a white male. Police request that individuals who are approached by this subject not give him any money and avoid a confrontation. Rather, attempt to identify a vehicle he may be driving and call 911 as soon as practical.
