Tons of Toys for Tots

St. Gall announces
Christmas schedule

ELBURN—In order to accommodate the large number of families attending Christmas Eve Mass on Friday, Dec. 24, St. Gall Church will provide two 4 p.m. Masses—one in the church and one in the parish hall.
The pastor, Fr. Karl Ganss, will preside in the church while Fr. William Etheredge, a priest from Aurora Central Catholic High School, will officiate in the parish hall. Children from the parish will present a Christmas pageant at the Mass in the church.
There will also be a Mass at 6 and 10 p.m. with music provided by the combined choir. The 10 p.m. Mass will be preceded by Christmas carols at 9:30 p.m.
Christmas Day Masses are at 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m. Masses on Sunday, Dec. 26, will be at 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m.

Elburn Hill Church
sets Christmas services

Elburn—The Elburn Hill Church, located at 506 N. Main St. in Elburn, will hold a candlelight Christmas Eve service, titled “Stories of Christmas,” on Friday, Dec. 24, at 6 p.m.

St. Peter Church
announces schedule

GENEVA—St. Peter Catholic Church in Geneva invites the public to Christmas and New Year’s worship services.
The Holy Mass will be celebrated on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, with two 4 p.m. Masses (one in the church, one in the gym), as well as Masses at 6:30 and 10 p.m.
On Christmas Day, Dec. 25, Masses are at 9 and 11 a.m.
Mass times will return to the regular nonholiday schedule on Sunday, Dec. 26, and will be held at 7, 9 and 11 a.m., and then at 5 p.m. Masses on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, are at 7 and 8:45 a.m. Mass on New Years Day, Jan. 1, is at 8 a.m., with a Vigil Mass at 4:30 p.m.

St. Charles Episcopal
sets Christmas schedule

St. Charles—St. Charles Episcopal Church, 994 N. 5th Ave., invites the community to its Christmas Eve services on Friday, Dec. 24.
At 4:30 p.m., the Creche Service with Holy Eucharist is especially appropriate for families with young children. At 7:30 p.m. there will be a Holy Eucharist. At 10 p.m., a hymn sing led by the adult choir will precede the 10:30 p.m. Christmas Holy Eucharist.
On Christmas Day, there will be a Holy Eucharist at 10 a.m. On Sunday, Dec. 26, there will be only one Holy Eucharist at 10 a.m., with child care available. Two Guys and Free Spaghetti will provide a homemade spaghetti and meatballs dinner on Sunday, Dec. 26, from 5 to 7 p.m. at St. Charles Episcopal Church, 994 N. 5th Ave., in St. Charles.

Elburn—St. Gall Catholic Church, Elburn, will offer an anticipatory New Year’s Mass on Friday, Dec. 31, at 4:30 p.m. New Year’s Day Mass is Saturday, Jan. 1, at 9:30 a.m. The church will also offer Masses on Sunday, Jan. 2, at 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m.
