Spring flute recitals
ST. CHARLES—Lynne Green’s School of Flute announces its spring flute recitals to be held Saturday, March 12, at the Congregational United Church of Christ of St. Charles, 40W451 Fox Mill Blvd.

Two sessions will be held, each featuring middle school and high school flutists. Amber and Rachel Urich or Elburn will perform during the 2 p.m. session.

Taize Worship
ST. CHARLES—St. Charles Episcopal Church, 994 N. 5th Ave. (Route 25), invites the community to experience Taize Worship on Sunday, March 13, at 7:30 p.m.

Worship in the style of Taize, a monastic community in central France, is a service of light and shadows, chants and silence, readings and quiet prayer.
