KHS graduate crowned Miss Illinois Plus America Queen

CHICAGO—Nineteen-year-old Morgan Marie Roberts of Sugar Grove, a 2011 Kaneland High School graduate, competed in Chicago in the Miss Illinois Plus America Pageant on May 6, and was crowned Miss Illinois Plus America Queen.

In addition to being crowned Queen, Morgan also won two out of three other sections of the competition. She was awarded first-place trophies for best photos in the photogenic and cover girl categories. Through months of hard work and dedication to her preparation, she presented herself with much beauty, elegance, integrity, character and poise as the Kane County delegate. Morgan stood before the judges and large crowd to take a platform on behalf of The American Cancer Society.

Morgan will compete nationally in the Miss Plus America Pageant in Memphis Tenn.
