UCC to hold annual
ELBURN—Community Congregational Church—UCC of Elburn—will hold its annual Harvest Dinner on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 4 to 8 p.m.
The dinner will include turkey with “all the trimmings,” homemade desserts and beverages. The event will include crafts, a raffle and a White Elephant sale. Proceeds support area missions including the Elburn Food Pantry, Hessed House, Lazarus House, Lifelink, Elderday Center and Mutual Ground.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors (65 and over), $7 for children and $2 for children ages 5 and younger. Takeouts will be available.

SGUMC to host
SUGAR GROVE—Sugar Grove United Methodist Church will host a benefit chili supper at the Sugar Grove Community House, 141 Main St. in Sugar Grove, on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
The community is invited to share in the fun, food and fellowship with a meal of hot chili, salad, bread, desserts and beverages. A free will offering will be taken to benefit Mutual Ground Inc., which has been providing a safety net of services for victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse in the greater Aurora area since 1975.

Two Guys and
ST. CHARLES—Two Guys and Free Spaghetti will provide a homemade spaghetti and meatballs dinner with beverage, salad, garlic bread and homemade dessert to anyone who attends the monthly event held on Sunday, Oct. 28, 5 to 7 p.m. at St. Charles Episcopal Church, 994 N. 5th Ave. (Route 25) in St. Charles. Guests come from all over the mid-Fox Valley to enjoy the fellowship and food.

St. Gall announces All Saints Day Mass schedule
ELBURN—In order to accommodate Catholics in fulfilling their holy day obligation, St. Gall Church, Elburn, is offering three Masses to observe All Saints Day on Thursday, Nov. 1. Masses will take place that day at 8:30 a.m., 12:10 and 7:30 p.m.

Book of Genesis study
ST. CHARLES—The study of the Book of Genesis will be given by Bible Study Fellowship International on Wednesday mornings, 9:10 to 11 a.m. from now until May 2013 at Riverside Community Church, St. Charles.
