Ups and downs

KANELAND—Coach Scott Parillo’s Soccer team had an up and down week, securing a road win over IMSA 9-1, but falling to conference foe DeKalb in Barbland Tuesday by a score of 3-1.

KHS now sits at 3-3-1, 0-1 in conference play.

Against IMSA, the Knights lit up the scoresheet. Anthony Parillo had two goals and three assists, Drew Franklin had two goals, Angel Escontrias, Ivan Bohorquez and Michael Meisenger each had a goal and an assist, while Adhurim Azemi and Kyle Romas each scored a goal.

Against DeKalb on Tuesday, Ignacio Toscano supplied the lone Knight goal when he scored on a header off an assist from Parillo.

Next up for the Knights is a home match against Morris today, before they travel to Geneva Monday.
