‘Almost, Maine’ at KHS

By on October 27, 2013

KANELAND—Kaneland High School is proud to present its fall play, “Almost, Maine,” a sequence of short vignettes that explore love and loss in a remote, mythical almost-town called Almost, Maine. Performance dates are Friday, Nov. 15, and Saturday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 17, at 2 p.m. Tickets are now available.

Help is needed from the public to make this show a success. Supplies that are needed and may be donated include paint brushes, paint rollers, canvas drop cloths, red fabric, black and white latex paint, and other colors, too. Believe it or not, KHS’ Theatre Department also needs to borrow a moose head for the performances. Supplies can be dropped off at KHS, after school, between now and Friday, Nov. 8.

In addition, help is also needed by way of meals for the students during tech week, bottled water for the students and for sale at concessions, and snacks for concessions. Volunteers are needed to help in the box office and with the star table, hand out programs, and also serve as ushers.

The Kaneland Performing Arts Boosters and the KHS Theatre Department appreciate any and all help the public can provide. If you have any questions or suggestions, email info@knightmusic.org.
