Donald G. Werling

Donald G. Werling, 73, of Friendship, Wis., passed away Sunday, April 13, at his winter home in Mesa, Ariz. He was born July 24, 1940, in Chicago. Don retired from Murphy & Miller Inc. in 2002 after working there as a service manager for many years.

He is greatly missed by his wife of 53 years, MaryAnn (Maxian); his daughters, Linda (Potvin) and son-in-law Mark of Elburn, Kim (Smith) and son-in-law Paul of Romeoville, Ill.; five grandchildren, Paul Potvin and wife Alicia (David), Kathy (Potvin) Maddox and husband Scott, Jill Potvin, Michael Potvin and Andrew Smith; two great-grandchildren, Morgan and Blake Potvin; three sisters, the late Rita (Werling) Beaver of Darien, Ill., Loriane Werling of Chicago, and twin sister Diane (Werling) Nelson of Chicago.

A memorial mass will be held Saturday, May 24, at noon at St. Gall Catholic Church, Route 47 & W. Shannon Street, Elburn.
