Vital Chiropractic donate to Elburn Food Pantry

Elburn—When Dr. David Foss of vital Chiropractic handed Deb Barry a check for $1,000, she knew it was exactly what she needed.

Barry is a representative of the Elburn Food Pantry, and the money will be put to good use in the midst of a struggling economy.

“Due to (the) failing U.S. economy, our numbers have greatly increased over the past six months,” Barry said. “Vital Chiropractic’s donation will directly assist those Elburn families hard hit by job-loss and other hardships.”

The donation consisted of $500 from an interoffice fundraising effort called “Christmas Dreams,” and Foss matched those funds to bring the total to $1,000.

“I have been touched by the outpouring of my practice members,” Foss said. “With the success of this fundraiser, Vital Chiropractic is putting our thinking caps on for another fundraiser in the spring. Maybe instead of a marathon we will host a fund-a-thon.”
